the funny side of the terminal 5 disaster

Just came across this video through a link on the Edelman-website. Who says there isn't a funny side to British Airways Terminal 5 disaster? Criticism in a song? You've got it. Sit back and enjoy!

Love the video... They BA should once and for all understand they are not just losing money... They are devastating their reputation which in the long run is even more costly!!

Agree with you there. And I honestly think that this PR-disaster will be a future textbook example on how NOT TO DO THINGS.

On the other hand, this video (along with thousands of others) really shows what effort people are willing to put in to get their message across.

One might think that this guy sat in with us at Andy McGuigan's lecture on emotional intelligence! The way he wraps in his criticism is neat, to put it mildly, but deadly effective.

I think I saw that couple of weeks ago on BBC, they interviewed the guys who created the video. Isn’t user-generated content wonderful? You can monitor it, and monitor it, and oh, did I mention you can monitor it? Not much else you can do about it, can you? Well, maybe improve your service.. BA certainly managed to get their customers involved and express their creativity.

Hail to the queen of sarcasm!

By monitoring the content it will inevitably reach you - which probably is the first commandment from the generator's point of view. Whether you take heed of the message is an altogether different story.

Judging from BA's PR brilliance in the Terminal 5 affair, one could probably assume with a degree of certainty that they didn't give a toss.
